Coping In Crisis

We live in turbulent times today. Political views are polarized, politicians are

disrespectful on both sides, collaboration seems to be a lost approach, violent rhetoric is

frequent, hate seems to grow daily, and even murders are committed against political

enemies. The political and social environment is chaotic, scary, hate-filled, and

destructive, no matter what side of the fence you’re on. This brings about anxiety, fear,

anger, resentment, and discord among our friends, our families, and within ourselves. It

can leave us uncertain about the future, anxious, distracted from our daily lives, and

exhausted.

We personally struggle to make sense of it all.  We each have coping skills and tools that we use to navigate, survive, be resilient, and hope for a better future. Our faith can be a strong anchor to lean on in these times. If you are interested in group discussions and using your faith to grow more spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically complete the form and if there is enough interest we will take action to plan a kick off session.
