Help the children served by North Gwinnett Co-op go back to school wtth pride! Epiphany is providing new bookbags and school supplies to the Co-op for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Pick up a list in the narthex -- each list should total no more than $10, and will be less is you shop the back-to-school sales. (So pick up more than one list!)

If you can't make it to Epiphany, click on the picture above for the full lists for each grade level. (These lists will be about $20 for each grade leve, plus about $10 for the scientific calculator.)

In addition to the supplies, we need bookbags too! Bring supplies to the church no later than Sunday, July 25.

We're also make a special effort to replenish the food pantry before school begins. Please see below for a list of food items urgently needed.

Epiphany is a support member of the North Gwinnett Co-op in Buford, which provides food, clothing, financial assistance and spiritual support to those in need in the Buford, Suwanee and Sugar Hill Communities. For more information on the North Gwinnett Coop please click here. Epiphany collects food for the Co-op year-round and delivers it on a weekly basis. Please bring your items to the grocery cart at Epiphany.

Urgent Need to Fill Pantry Shelves! Shelves are emptying at the Co-op as more families in our area are in need and are being served. The Co-op has an immediate need for: peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauces, rice and boxed dinners, canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, bathroom tissue, and paper towels. Please be sure any food donated has not expired, as having expired food items on the shelves is in violation of the Health Department Standards that the Co-op must meet.

Epiphany Builds for Habitat Again in 2010!

For the fifth year, Epiphany joined with a crew building a new home in Gwinnett County through the Thrivent Builds/Habitat program. Located in Tucker, the home was completed and dedicated at the end of May.

You can support the efforts of Habitat in Gwinnett County year-round by contributing to and shopping at the Habitat ReStore. For more information, visit the ReStore website.
