On this page, you will find information relevant to the Arts Ministries of Epiphany used to bring glory and praise to God.

Our Vision: To glorify God and proclaim God's word through the Arts.

Our Mission: To give God our very best through authentic and committed relationship with our Lord and each other proclaiming the word through music and arts to our church community and those beyond our doors.

Arts Participation Covenant

This covenant is designed out of love and respect for the Arts Ministries and to support our vision and mission.

  • I will make rehearsals a priority in my schedule as this is a ministry and it deserves that commitment.
  • I will commit to spending time outside of our rehearsal times to practice if necessary.
  • I will maximize our rehearsal time by remaining focused on the task. (We will have fun, but when we need to be serious we will get serious.)
  • I will commit to maintaining a personal prayer life and spiritual growth.
  • I will commit to praying for this ministry of our church.
  • I will treat this ministry with the respect it deserves.
  • I will be on time to rehearsals and call when I cannot be there.

The Epiphany Choir is a lively and spirited chorus of musicians committed to ministry through vocal music of all musical styles ranging from classical works and formal anthems to spirited contemporary gospel music and Southern spirituals. The choir sings week to week in our worship services, providing musical strength for the congregation in hymns and liturgy. In addition, the choir presents extended musical works on festival days and in special seasons throughout the year. The choir will occasionally sing at the Wednesday evening services during the seasons of Advent and Lent. Membership in the choir is open to anyone high school age and older. Steve Belfield director.

The Men's Chorus, which is also known as the "Epiph-tones," specializes in three- and four-part music for male voices. Like the Epiphany Choir, musical styles range from traditional hymn and anthem arrangements to lively Southern spirituals. Audiences and congregations are never disappointed when they hear this electrifying group! Outside of Epiphany, the Men's Chorus has sung for a variety of benefit events. Rehearsals are called as needed. The Men's Chorus is directed by Steve Belfield; membership is open to men of high-school age and older.

The Ladies Chorus sings several times a year -- all ladies are welcome. We rehearse as needed. Steve Belfield directs the group.

Instrumental Music is an integral part of worship for Epiphany! Epiphany possesses a wealth of talent in the areas of percussion, wind, brass, and string players of all ages. Players of wind and brass instruments, percussion, guitar and bass guitar are all welcome. A variety of instrumentalists accompany the music in worship on a regular basis. Please contact Terri Schroader if you're interested in being a part of the instrumental ensemble. Instrumentalists rehearse Wednesdays at 7:30 PM, immediately following Wednesdays at the Well.

Epiphany Bell Chorus includes everything from our children's chimes to traditional handbells. The bells enhance worship with praise ringing sound.

Drama and Liturgical Dance bring words to life. Actors and dancers are encouraged to experience the Gospel lessons and to bring those experiences to the congregation during worship. There are a number of opportunities to become engaged with drama and dance as it is designed into worship services and special events throughout the year. Terri Schroader coordinates.
