Epiphany Lutheran Church is a community who RAISES UP all of our CHILDREN and ADOLESCENTS to be healthy, hopeful, and faith-filled servant leaders in the world.

ChildrenMsgThat's the weekly opening to Pastor Rick's time with the children during worship on Sunday mornings. All children are invited to come forward for some time with Pastor Rick as he talks with them about the day's lesson. (Adults listen closely too!)

Children of all ages are welcome in worship and all are welcome at God's table of grace. (Click here for more information about Epiphany's open communion, the practice of communing ALL people, including all ages.)

For those children who would prefer to be in a more playful environment, Epiphany's nursery is staffed from 8:15 a.m. through the end of our 11:00 worship service.

Medical release forms should be on file before youth attend off-site or overnight events at Epiphany.

Activity consent forms are required for each off-site and/or overnight activity for Epiphany children and youth.

Epiphany Lutheran Church intends to provide a safe and secure environment for all those entrusted to our care. We do this to encourage children, youth and their families to grow in their relationship with God and with one another.

Epiphany's Child Protection Policy applies to all adult and teenage servants (paid and nonpaid) who will have responsibility for supervising the activities of children, youth, and mentally challenged persons.

Children's Communion Retreat 2013
Saturday, March 23, 9:30 - 11 AM

Communion ImageChildren ages 5 through 5th grade are invited to a mini-retreat on Holy Communion. Participants will be grouped by age: preK through 2nd grade and 3rd through 5th grade.

Epiphany practices open communion, and central to our practice is the continual shaping of our children on the meaning and blessings of this meal. The retreat is led by Pastor Rick and Melanie Landry.

Retreat participants and their families will be recognized and will commune first at our Maundy Thursday worship (March 28).
